So its took me several years and quite a few bits, hacks, side pulls, and all different types of headstalls to finally decide that I want to ride and train 100% bitless. Its the only way that I recommend and the only way that I ride, there is no need for a bit when your training is correct. Why use a bit when you can get the same results bitless and your poor horse will not have an uncomfortable piece of metal in his mouth all day. Bitless is the only way our horses will be trained here at Circle M Quarter Horses.
There seems to be more people these days going bitless. I have come to find that after years of training and riding problem horses that riding bitless will give a quicker and softer response, as well as a level head. With most headstalls there is NO pressure, release, and reward. With the headstalls that I use, I have found to get all of that.
People think that training a horse is simple, but training a horse isn't something just anyone can do. Don't get me wrong anyone can break a horse, but there is a big difference in TRAINING and BREAKING.
Here at Circle M we train our horses to be the best. We can train our horses to meet most people's special needs. We work hard to try to make our horses 100% vice free and safe for anyone. Its very hard to find the perfect horse, so be careful where you go and what you buy. Just remember horses are supposed to be family fun, not a headache, or hassle. So purchase your next horse here at Circle M Quarter Horses.
